I started out playing Lemmings and Crime Wave and graduated to the big boys league with Prince of Persia and Dune (the adventure game, not the strategy one), back when days were still long enough to accommodate everything there was to do and boredom had not been eradicated.
Then I stumbled upon the strategy one, along with Warcraft, XCOM and a handful of others that gradually helped me shy away from football and the great outdoors and fuel my passion for exploring countless virtual worlds.
Granted, falling out of trees in make-believe worlds has a slightly lower probability to end with a trip to the hospital, but the way reality manages to outdo our imagination still manages to amaze me, which explains my second biggest hobby: online trolling. Joking. Or am I?
When I’m not playing stuff (from a pretty varied menu, although I admit I favor role playing and strategy games), I like to read (mostly various sci-fi or fantasy novels, but from time to time I also allow my gaze to linger on more pedestrian pieces, provided they have enough intrinsic stylistic value or convey interesting enough ideas).
