The development team at 343 Industries is announcing that it is now adding a new Team Objective playlist for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, while also making SWAT permanent for the moment, with all tweaks based on the feedback offered by gamers.

The information comes from the official Twitter account of the franchise, but the studio is not offering any details on the way the playlists will fluctuate in the coming months.

343 Industries is still set to deliver a new content update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection in May, which is designed to tweak a number of game modes and to once again try and improve the matchmaking process.

The shooter is now in much better shape than it was when originally introduced on the Xbox One in November, but there are still fans who have problems with the title and cannot reliably get into multiplayer matches.

343 Industries says that it will also introduce more content associated with Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which will be free for those who supported the title during the initial release period.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is important for the future of the franchise

Most of the resources of the development team and publisher Microsoft are at the moment focused on the launch of Halo 5: Guardians, which is set to be introduced on October 27 of this year.

The game will deliver a single-player focused on the conflict between Master Chief and Agent Locke.

When it comes to multiplayer, the title will introduce a range of big changes to the series, including more abilities for Spartans and a range of new modes.

When the new video game arrives, interest in Halo: The Master Chief Collection will spike among those who will want to get the older titles on the Xbox One.

This means that 343 Industries needs to continue to offer support until the end of the year at least, while continuing to rely on feedback from fans to improve the experience.

This year, Halo is also supposed to get access to new novels and to a range of new Guardians-themed toys.
