No info on when the changes will go live

The development team at Bungie is announcing that it no longer plans to activate the changes included in the 1.2.0 update for Destiny today, Tuesday - May 12, and that it is modifying the patch schedule linked to the launch of the House of Wolves expansion.

The information comes from the official Twitter account of the studio, but no reason is offered for the change of plans.

The company is also not willing to say when the tweaks introduced in update 1.2.0, which has already been downloaded to copies of the game since about a week ago, will go live.

Presumably, the line about more information means that a bigger official announcement will be made later in the day.

That might also mean that Destiny players will also get access to a full list of patch notes, which have not been delivered so far, with various fan groups data-mining them from the official files of the shooter.

At the moment, the House of Wolves expansion for Destiny is set to be launched on May 19, and on that day, Bungie is aiming to deliver another small patch that will activate all the new content.

The studio is adding more ways for veterans to enjoy the end-game of the shooter

Soon after Destiny was first launched, players complained about the relatively limited amount of content included and the fact that they did not have a clear set of end-game activities to engage with.

The first expansion, called The Dark Below, did not incorporate any tweaks, but for House of Wolves, the developers listened to the feedback coming from the community and incorporated a lot of it.

A new mode called Prison of Elders will ask Guardians to battle waves of enemy AI-controlled creatures, with rewards offered to all those who have survived for a solid amount of time.

All those who are more interested in Player versus Player can take part in Trials of Osiris, where victorious teams will get a chance to access exclusive items for their characters.

House of Wolves is also set to add more weapons and to give all gamers a chance to improve their Guardians as they gain new levels.

Rumors are saying that another expansion for Destiny, called The Taken King, is supposed to arrive in the fall of this year.
