The development team at Bungie is offering another update regarding the implementation of the changes made by update 1.2.0 for Destiny, and it seems that the studio is now planning to complete deployment on Friday morning.

The information comes from the official Weekly Update, but no actual hour is mentioned and the wording from the company might sound like work is still ongoing.

Bungie has already said that it has delayed update 1.2.0 in order to deal with an important technical issue, and it is unclear whether it is solved at the moment.

The announcement adds, "I've been told that the best time to apply a patch to a game is not only when it’s ready, but also when there are a lot of smart people in the building to make sure it lands safely. We’re in the final phases of testing and approval for the first update. Confidence is high. As soon as we’re ready, we’ll let you know."

Bungie is also promising that a full reveal of the patch notes will be coming alongside update 1.2.0 for Destiny, when it finally arrives.

The actual patch files have already been delivered to the game on all platforms, but the activation has been delayed for about one week.

Another update is coming when House of Wolves launches on May 19

After update 1.2.0 is deployed, gamers will have only a few days to understand all the changes that it is making before another patch for the video game is coming alongside the new expansion.

On May 19, the House of Wolves content is being introduced to the social shooter.

Alongside it, gamers will also receive update 1.2.0.1, which is supposed to activate the new content but might also make other smaller tweaks.

The House of Wolves expansion is designed to add a range of new end-game-focused activities to the video game.

Trials of Osiris is a team-based experience in which long-term survival is important, with the best performers rewarded with a range of exclusive items.

Gamers can also engage in Prison of Elders, a horde-like activity in which Guardians will have to deal with waves of attacks led by powerful enemies.

Rumors are talking about another expansion for Destiny, called The Taken King, which is supposed to be launched before the end of the year.
