HTC HD2, the latest high-end mobile phone the Taiwan-based handset maker HTC is set to deliver to the market with Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system on board, is now confirmed to come to T-Mobile UK's airwaves. Moreover, the carrier also provided a launch time frame for the handset: November.

Previous rumors already pointed towards a close release of the device on T-Mobile's network, yet the exact launch date wasn't known, as the rumors suggested either November 11 or November 6 as the possible release days. Now, all is official, and UK mobile phone users will only have a little more than one week to wait until the handset hits the shelves.

Interestingly enough, the handheld that can be seen on T-Mobile's website is the older HTC Touch HD, and the carrier says that users will enjoy “loads of applications to download from Android Market,” which does not fit into the HTC HD2 picture we're familiar with. Considering HTC announced that the phone wouldn't see an Android version coming to the market anytime soon, we can only imagine that someone posted the wrong details on T-Mobile's website, as Engadget notes, though we remain open for eventual changes.

In the meantime, we should mention a few more details that seem to have recently emerged on the HTC HD2. It seems that HTC is set to officially launch the phone on November 4, at least this is what a post on pocketnow indicates. The “first Windows phone with HTC Sense” will be showcased that day, ahead of the November 11 launch date different markets around the world will enjoy.

It is rather unclear whether HTC will announce something new for the phone that day, though there are great chances that almost all aspects regarding the handset have been covered, considering the large amount of video sessions and reviews it has been through. However, you should stick around, just in case something new is put on the table.
