On T-Mobile UK's airwaves

HTC HD2, the high-end mobile phone the Taiwanese handset maker HTC has packed with Microsoft’s newly launched Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, seems to be getting ready to make an appearance on the UK market as soon as November 6 is here. Moreover, it is also expected to come on the airwaves of T-Mobile UK, just as previous rumors pointed out.

The new device seems even more impressive than any other high-end mobile phone available at the moment on the market can be. It comes with a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen display, with Qualcomm’s new 1Ghz Snapdragon mobile processor, a wide range of communication and entertainment features, as well as with great raw power.

The handset was officially announced on October 6, the very same day Windows Mobile 6.5 went live on the market, and HTC also stated back then that it would be released on the shelves in Europe before the end of October, but it seems that early November will actually be the lucky time frame. T-Mobile will carry the phone in the UK, yet other operators have also been said to have it on their offering in the country and around the old continent.

The news on a possible launch on November 6 with T-Mobile UK came from phonedog, which provided with some shots from the carrier's inventory. No details on the price tag HTC HD2 will feature on T-Mobile, yet one thing that seems to be certain is that only postpaid customers will be able to enjoy this beauty. Most probably, the phone will be offered for free on contract, the same as on O2 UK.

There are no exact details on when the phone will come to the US market, though previous rumors pointed towards January 2010 as the possible launch window. Until this behemoth reaches the US, users in the country will have yet another high-end attractive device to enjoy, the Motorola DROID, which is also slated for a November 6 launch, only that on Verizon Wireless this time.
