The Windows Mobile 6.5-based HTC HD2 is getting closer and closer to its launch on the market, yet the official details on when that might happen seem to lack. Even if the launch date remains a mystery (though some rumors on the matter have already been spotted), we can still take a look at a series of new screenshots that offer a glimpse at what the handset should include.

According to WMPoweruser, the shots are set to show both some of the already known features of the high-end HTC HD2, as well as some new details on it. What one can admire in the images attached to this article includes multi-touch zooming in the Adobe Acrobat PDF reader, a ringing tone application, a Navipanel mode when the mobile phone is connected to a car kit, a video playback at 1703 kb/sec, the OS build and a screen with the available apps on the device.

Most of you might already know that the HTC HD2 is shaping up to become the nicest Windows Mobile-based handset to come to the market until now, and the shots below seem set to prove just that. The entire gallery of screenshots can be seen on Pocketpc.ch, and one will spot there the wireless router app, the compass, some connectivity options and more.

It shouldn't be too long before users are able to enjoy all the features that this handset can deliver. Recent rumors suggested that T-Mobile UK might release the phone as soon as November 6 is here, and also pointed towards a possible November 16 launch date on O2 UK. The handset will most probably come for free on contract, yet those who would like to have it with no commitment can already pre-order it from various retailers, priced at £500. Expansys had HTC HD2 on pre-order for much more, yet now it lists it for £499.99 too. Watch this space for additional details on the handheld.
