Today, wireless carrier Sprint announced the launch of its 4G services in a series of new markets around the United States, including Rochester, N.Y., Syracuse, N.Y., Merced, Calif., Visalia, Calif., Eugene, Ore., Tri-Cities, Wash., and Yakima, Wash. According to the company, the launch brings 4G for the first time to New York and California, and expands the number of markets that benefit from the service to 43. In addition to the new metropolitan areas, Sprint plans the launch of 4G in more markets in the US before year's end, including Los Angeles, New York and Miami.

Sprint's 4G services are meant to bring the wireless experience to a new level. According to the company, users should benefit from faster download speeds with the solution, as well as from seamless streaming video, and turbo-charged Web browsing. Moreover, users can enjoy the increased speeds on a series of appealing devices, including the HTC EVO 4G, the first Android-based smartphone to pack WiMAX connectivity, and also the first 3G/4G wireless smartphone in the United States.

“We are hearing a lot of positive feedback from our 4G customers who are using HTC EVO and mobile broadband connectivity,” said Matt Carter, president of 4G, Sprint. “People are hungry for faster wireless speeds, 3G/4G smartphones and unlimited data plans – and, Sprint offers all of these. With Sprint 4G, we are entering a new world of wireless possibilities.”

Sprint complements the availability of 4G services with the Sprint Free Guarantee offering, through which one can try out 4G for 30 days. In case users are not satisfied with the experience they received from the company's services, they can cancel the subscription and they would be fully reimbursed. Moreover, the carrier offers increase simplicity with its Everything Data plans, through which users would get unlimited Web, texting and calling on the Sprint network for a low price.
