The Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta has been online since Tuesday, but things haven't gone so smoothly for its developer, Naughty Dog, as plenty of players have complained of glitches, issues and freezes.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception is set to appear this November, only for the PlayStation 3, and promises to once again take the console to its limits, with an improved single-player campaign and an overhauled multiplayer that polishes the great experience from its predecessor.

In order to really give it that extra bit of shine, the developer has just released a multiplayer beta for Uncharted 3, currently exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers, which went online earlier this week, and appears next Tuesday for all PSN users.

The first couple of days haven't been so good for the multiplayer beta, as lots of players complained of several issues, from glitchy matchmaking to freezes that force players to restart their console.

Now, Naughty Dog boss Christophe Balestra has posted an update on his Twitter feed confirming that many issues have been solved with the release of a special patch for the beta, taking it to version 1.01.

What's more, the matchmaking problems have been solved and a fix is going to be deployed soon.

As of right now, however, things are still problematic, with certain gamers saying that console freezing still happens, even while trying to download the actual patch for the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta.

Still, people should remember, before criticizing Naughty Dog, that it's still an actual beta software, so things won't go as smooth as possible right from the first day.

Hopefully, until next week when every PS3 owner can get in on the Uncharted 3 multiplayer action, things will be solved.
