A lot of games have been confirmed for release this year, including some highly anticipated titles like God of War III, Guitar Hero 5 or other sequels. But one of the most important ones and a definite blockbuster will be Modern Warfare 2, created by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, which is the sequel to the hugely successful Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

We've already heard some details about the game, courtesy of magazines like Game Informer and various executives from Infinity Ward or Activision, namely how it will blow other games away and break sales records left and right.

The hype campaign already started, as we saw a brief teaser trailer appear a month ago, which was quickly dissected by Call of Duty fans around the world, with theories thrown around about who would appear in the game and what enemies they would have to face. This hype was further expanded as a brief 15-second trailer in which soldiers engaged in a snow-filled environment was shown on TV.

Now, after a pretty hard wait, the final version of this trailer was revealed during the NBA playoffs, probably in an effort to make even more fans take notice of the future game. This new trailer contains two minutes of pure action, which will make even the most pessimistic CoD fan eagerly anticipate its release on November 10 this year.

It features, besides the already known snow environments, a lot of other levels, all consisting of some interesting locales and some unforgettable moments. It seems that there will be a lot of scripted events, which might be a gamble by Infinity Ward in order to recreate more memorable experiences.

Without further ado, here's the first full trailer of Modern Warfare 2, courtesy of GameTrailers and you can also download it right here from Softpedia. Look forward to the game at the end of the year.
