Sprint's current and future subscribers will probably be happy to find out that their carrier intends to release at least ten new handsets in the next few moths. Well, two of them are only new color versions of already existing devices, but they can still go as "new products," right?

The upcoming handsets are listed on a Sprint roadmap that appeared today on the Web. Sure, this does not come officially from Sprint but, as in the case of most of the leaked roadmaps, it can be considered credible.

So, this month, Sprint plans to release an LG Rumor in Blue (which can already be acquired, but only via Best Buy), a red BlackBerry Curve and the Palm Treo 800w smartphone, which will finally hit Sprint's stores on July 13. In case you don't know, the 800w is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Palm packed with GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, EV-DO Rev A connectivity and other nice features, so it's one of the best Palm handsets to come out until now.

For August, Sprint has prepared two handsets: Motorola RAZR VE20 (which has been recently approved by the FCC) and a new Sanyo Katana, named Katana Eclipse or Sanyo SCP-6750. This will come after the Katana LX, available since April. There are no details about the features of the new Eclipse, but we should expect it to be better than the LX.

September will be a busy month for Sprint, as no less than five handsets are scheduled to be launched. First of all, there's the so-called HTC MP6950, which might be HTC Touch Diamond or HTC Touch Pro - any of them will surely attract lots of users. Furthermore, two Samsung clamshells are on the list (M220 and M320), plus the Motorola V950 Renegade and a Motorola i365, which is most probably a rugged handset for the Nextel Direct Connect network.

All in all, Sprint's users have some pretty nice handsets to look forward to.
