Verizon Wireless and Nokia announced the introduction of the Nokia 7205 Intrigue, a rather nice-looking clamshell mobile phone that sports a unique external display. The handset comes with a black exterior that unveils a subtle 1.9-inch PMOLED display with a 176 x 32 pixel resolution, which is only visible when there is an incoming call or an unread text message.

On the inside, the Nokia 7205 Intrigue provides a gradient color keypad, which is available in both silver and pink. The mobile phone also comes with support for V CAST Music with Rhapsody, allowing users to access more than 5 million songs that are available for download over-the-air. VZ Navigator is also supported.

The specification list of the Nokia 7205 Intrigue shows a 2-megapixel photo snapper with flash and video recording capabilities, a 2.2-inch TFT QVGA screen that can provide a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, as well as support for 262K colors. The mobile phone also includes messaging capabilities (SMS/MMS/IM), email, music player, as well as a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space and Bluetooth capabilities.

Other features of the device also include Visual Voice Mail, offering users the possibility to access their voicemail messages in a rather convenient way, as well as the Habitat mode, providing users with the possibility to view their contacts in a chronological manner, delivering a new way of interacting with them. In addition, the handset also comes with sustainability features, reminding when the device is fully charged, while also sporting a low no-load charger for energy saving.

The new Nokia 7205 Intrigue is available for purchase from Verizon starting today. The price tag of the device has been set at $129.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the carrier.
