The device is a nice-looking clamshell

As many of you might already know, Nokia Intrigue is expected to come to Verizon's offering this quarter, as the carrier's roadmap for 2009 showed at one point. The mid-end clamshell, also known as Nokia 7205, was reported a few days ago to come to the mobile phone operator's offering on March 15, and now some press photos of the handset have surfaced to the Web.

The new images confirm in a way that the Nokia 7205 Intrigue is set to come to the operator in a short while, although it is still uncertain whether it will actually become available on March 15, as the news suggested. And it seems that there will be two variants coming towards users, one black with a cubic d-pad, while the second one featuring a pink keypad and flowery d-pad.

For what it's worth, the Nokia 7205 Intrigue does seem to be a rather good-looking clamshell that features external music-dedicated keys as well as a color transition effect on the inside case. The phone's external display seems to resemble the one featured by the LG VX8700, which would mean that users might have to hold it sideways to read.

Among the capabilities of the Nokia 7205 Intrigue we can count a QVGA internal display, coupled with a 2-megapixel photo snapper, as well as with Bluetooth connectivity, and Web capabilities. The new handset also brings V CAST Video and a microSD memory card slot for additional storage space, though the specs do not end here.

The features list of the device does not show it as having anything out of the ordinary, yet the handset has the style to compensate. For the time being, there is no specific information available on the price tag of the Nokia 7205 Intrigue, yet it is expected to be a rather affordable device on a contract, some even suggesting that it could cost less than $100 under these circumstances.
