Mobile phone maker Motorola Mobility has just announced the availability of two new Android-based mobile phones for Sprint, the Motorola XPRT and Motorola Titanium, both of which come with business-grade capabilities.

The new Motorola XPRT comes with enterprise-class security capabilities and an enhanced MOTOBLUR experience for the carrier's users, while the Motorola Titanium sports Push-to-Talk capabilities and brings Android 2.1 on the Nextel Direct Connect network.

“We are pleased to extend our portfolio of products directed at business-users with these two powerful and versatile Android devices,” said Paget L. Alves, president – Sprint Business.

“Motorola XPRT delivers the security features enterprise customers demand without scrimping on the latest in technology, while Motorola Titanium is a rugged Android smartphone with Nextel Direct Connect’s sub-second Push-to-Talk.”

Motorola XPRT runs under Google's Android 2.2 Froyo OS, and sports a 1GHz processor, along with a 3.1-inch HVGA display, full QWERTY keyboard, and support for uncompromised web browsing with Adobe Flash Player 10.

The new mobile phone comes with 256-bit AES data encryption and controls, access to the Android Market for downloading applications, the MOTOBLUR UI with personalized content, or support for Google mobile services, such as Google Maps with Navigation, Google Talk, Gmail and YouTube.

The Motorola Titanium arrives as the successor of Motorola i1, which landed at Sprint last year. It runs Android 2.1, sports a 3.1-inch touchscreen display too, along with a full QWERTY keyboard, and was certified to Military Specification 810G for dust, shock, vibration, low pressure, solar radiation, high temperature and low temperature.

It also comes with support for a wide range of applications available via the Android Market, as well as for Google Mobile services, as well as for Nextel Direct Connect Services, like Direct Connect, Group Connect, International Direct Connect, DirectSend, Group Messaging and NextMail.

“Motorola XPRT and Motorola Titanium blend feature-packed consumer experiences with an optimal set of productivity and security tools,” said Jeff Miller, corporate vice president of sales, Motorola Mobility.

“We are pleased to partner with Sprint to deliver each of these unique business-ready devices to their continuously growing enterprise customer base.”

The Motorola XPRT is expected to become available for purchase through Sprint on Sunday, June 5, featuring a price tag of $129.99 with a new line or eligible upgrade upon the signing of a 2-year agreement. No info on Motorola Titanium's availability of pricing was unveiled for the time being.
