At age 40, you may feel embarrassed to play, but not with a DS rapped in leather

If you're that grown up gamer anxious to pull out your handheld on the bus, when you're on your way to work, you surely noticed that some will give you strange looks, like they've never seen a grownup play on a video game. It doesn't happen that often anymore because those times are beginning to fade away but still, wouldn't it be nice to have an accessory that makes you look like an important business man while playing on your DS, instead of letting people know that you're playing Pokemon at age 40?

Well, in Japan they've found a solution to that and now DS owners are proud to take them out and play as they are covered in leather. That's right, leather wrapping that makes an addicted Mario vs Donkey Kong player look like an important business man touchscreening with his stylus the company's budget or assets.

The leather wrapping will also make the DS look like a book wrapped in a nice leather cover, but I don't know how many of you will fall for that if you decide to start playing a game. Quite frankly, I think the idea sucks. Even if it sounds better than placing stickers on the console's original case, who - except maybe old people - would cover their Nintendo DS in leather? It's an object crafted to reflect the times we live in, having a nice, clean and shiny plastic casing. Covering it with leather will only make it look like a diary of a XVI century princess waiting to be rescued from the tower.

It's not expensive anyway, just ?1,995 (US $16.64) a piece, so don't feel sorry if what I've said made you throw yours away.
