South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics announced on Wednesday that its flagship multimedia phone, the LG Arena, was available in the UK in a new color scheme, a dusty pink metal finish, via the wireless carrier Orange. The new Pink version of the handset includes all the features that the LG Arena has become popular for, while also adding an eye-catching dimension of color to go hand in hand with the 3D graphics on the handset.

The LG Arena can deliver support for Orange Maps, courtesy of its built-in GPS receiver, and the mobile phone maker says that it can prove to be a great option for navigation, either when driving or when by foot. The LG Arena “Pink” comes with turn-by-turn direction, can provide users with search for points of interest, and boasts a stylish casing and the aforementioned multimedia features.

“LG understands the importance of diversifying its products and it is evident that consumers want the choice to purchase a phone in their favorite color. LG and Orange are enjoying working together to bring popular models to market and expanding ranges such as the LG Cookie and LG KS360 to meet wider consumer needs, the exclusive launch of the LG Arena 'Pink' is no exception,” stated Jeremy Newing, head marketing, LG Mobile UK.

The feature list of LG Arena 'Pink' includes a large 3.0-inch full touchscreen display that boasts a WVGA resolution, a 5-megapixel photo snapper, 8GB internal memory coupled with a microSD memory card slot that offers support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, a battery that can deliver up to 30 hours of MP3 playtime and up to 300 hours of standby time, as well as support for 3G HSDPA networks and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The new LG Arena 'Pink' can be acquired from Orange for free with pay monthly talk plans from GBP30 per month for two years. As many of you might already know, the LG Arena is available on Orange in Silver as well. More details can be found on the carrier's website.
