Renown for their remarkable audio quality, Klipsch just made official, in the UK, a new set of earphones that promise to deliver the same outstanding sound while coming in with a budget friendly attitude, the Klipsch S3 headphones retailing for just £39.99.

For this price, Klipsch promises to deliver a major boost in sound and comfort compared with other similarly priced competing models.

Klipsch says S3's impressive sound quality comes from using their customized 5.8mm moving-coil micro speaker with controlled damping, that allows the earphones to deliver smooth, full-bodied sound that’s similar to a more expensive balanced armature design.

Weighting only 11 grams, the S3s come with a sensitivity of 106dB and 18 ohms impedance, their frequency range being said to be between 12Hz and 18kHz.

Comfort is also improved compared their competitor's earphones since Klipsch uses oval ear tips that naturally fit the contours of the year canal, unlike circular-shaped ear tip that put stress on the pressure points inside the ear (or at least this is what Klipsch implies).

Compared to other solutions, the company states, these also offer better noise isolation, blocking almost all ambient noise while also providing its users with great bas, the ear tips coming in three different sizes (med, large, small/med dual flange) to adequately fit every ear size.

Furthermore, the Image S3 come with a tangle-resistant cable, this being moulded inside the plug for improved strain relief, Klipsch's earphones having undergone a wide series of tests to ensure they stack up to every real-world scenario that one can throw at them.

Available in a graphite gray, with red, pink and green finishes following shortly, the Image S3 earphones come with a zipper carrying case, and two year warranty, these being available for purchase from a series or retailers as well as from Klipsch's UK website.
