Not too long after an entire range of noise-isolating earphones were showcased, Loghitech has again entered the spotlight in order to reveal the Ultimate Ears 100 in-ear headphones that have now been set up for pre-order in five color options, each targeted at a certain musical genre.

Since making the actual hardware for audio output is, more or less, a fairly straightforward process, makers of audio solutions have to think outside the box in order to make their inventions competitive.

Most often, this translates into special design features or technologies that enhance the feature set or user convenience.

As a company that specializes in peripherals, Logitech often found itself in need of innovation, so it did not hold back when it designed the Ultimate Ears 100 in-ear earphones.

As far as sound output is concerned, the earphones have a sensitivity of 105dB/Mw, a frequency response of 20Hz-20KHz, an impedance of 16 Ohms and a noise reduction of up to 24 dB.

The headphones also feature a 3.5mm connector, a cable of 115 cm and are bundled with four soft silicone ear cushions of the XXS to M variety.

Logitech offers the Ultimate Ears 100 in multiple varieties, each aimed at users leaning towards a specific musical genre.

The performance of the various versions, of course, is identical, which means that the outer design will make all the difference in helping customers decide which to buy.

In short, the UE 100 come in red, green, blue, purple and grey color options, each with a specific logo or icon on the back.

“Many professional musicians use Ultimate Ears stage earphones to show off their style. You can do the same with one of these music genre-inspired designs,” states the product page.

End-users interested in a first-hand view of the specifications and features of this product line need only visit this page.

Unfortunately, those eager to buy the headphones will have to wait until later this month, though pre-orders can already be set for $19.99.
