She dreads being single and probably the idea of not being married, which is putting a lot of pressure on her relationships, word has it. The bottom line is that Jennifer Love Hewitt is single again, having just recently split from beau Alex Beh.

The two dated for about 9 months, moving from friends to more than just friends after Jennifer broke up with Jamie Kennedy, her co-star in her the now-canceled “Ghost Whisperer.”

For some time, the actress has been spotted out and about alone or in the company of friends, which naturally prompted some talk on why Alex was never by her side whenever the paparazzi happened to be around.

As it turns out, he has a very good reason for not being there, Us Magazine says: he and Jennifer are no longer an item.

“Jennifer Love has lost in love again. After nearly a year together, Jennifer Love Hewitt has parted ways with beau Alex Beh, her rep confirms to Us Weekly,” the publication says.

“They haven’t been dating for a little while,” the aforementioned rep clarified, refusing to point to a date when the two decided to go their separate ways.

While the actress’ publicist may not be too generous with details, friends insist for the same publication that “she’s doing well” in the wake of the breakup.

Us notes that, back in February this year, Jennifer and Alex were still very much together and, as per her own words, still very much in the puppy love stage.

“He buys me flowers every day,” the star gushed at the time. “Ever since we met. Every single day – I’m serious! He’ll either give me a bouquet, or handpick one. So sweet!” she added.

In March last year, after the split from Kennedy and before she became romantically linked to Alex, Jennifer was saying in a magazine interview that she “dreaded” the thought of being single again because she was most comfortable when in a relationship.

Later on, in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the star admitted to looking forward to the day when she’ll become engaged, having even gone through the trouble of picking out no less than 3 diamond rings for the man – to save him the time and effort, she said.
