Developed by Personal Applets Corporation, an innovative game developer that focuses on multi-player games using Apple's Bluetooth, Gyro Tennis for iPhone 4 is a sport game that takes advantage of the the built-in gyroscope.

The game lets players control the racket and ball direction, as well as set the difficulty level. The developer states that the game features a flawless tennis physics engine and that it was designed with the tennis fans in mind, thus it displays the realism of the actual tennis game.

"Gyro Tennis is the first tennis game that uses the built-in gyroscope to control a racket and a ball. You control the ball direction and also do lobs and smashes in a very natural manner - which makes the game fun and realistic to play," said Marco Heddes, President of Personal Applets Corporation.

Gyro Tennis also allows players to challenge their friends in real time via Bluetooth. Still, the main feature of the game enables users to perfect their tennis skills against the ball canon and gain experience in smashes at the net and lobbing over their opponent.

Further, the game includes a wide range of court surfaces, which comes with its own characteristics that can affect the play style and game experience.

The game targets amateur, as well as pro gamers, as the combination of gyroscope and physics engine gives both an enticing experience even from the first levels.

The game features 4 levels were a user has the ability to move the racket very fast. In difficulty level Pro the speed at which user can move the racket corresponds to a realistic running speed of a tennis player.

Gyro Tennis requires an iPhone 4 device running iOS 4 or later and 16.3 MB storage space.
