Form your guitar duo and riffs side by side or go head to head in the new multiplayer modes, on more than 55 tracks to rock out to. You'll start your rock career playing in small clubs and bars, but if you play well, you'll work your way up to stadiums and arenas. Feel like you're up to becoming a rock god?

Associate producer on the game, Ted Lange told IGN that Guitar Hero II for the 360 will boast "more online content than anyone has ever seen in a game to this date." He continued his comment by saying: "We're still in the process of confirming the final details and continue to secure more licenses, though nothing has been announced at this time, we can definitely say nobody will be disappointed."

Lange also wanted to let people know that, not long after GH II launches on the 360, more Guitar Hero titles are to be expected: "Of course, next-gen opens up a lot of new things we can do, both with the visual and audio technology and advanced capabilities. Just wait until you see what we have in store for the next Guitar Hero!" Good thing nobody asked "and what is that exactly Mr. Lange?" or he might have stumbled on his words.
