Strum to whatever you chose, there's no limit to the possibilities

If you've played Guitar Hero 2 and liked it, then what you're about to hear is going to make you love it. A DVD burner, a modded PS2, and a handful of hacking programs as outlined on the ScoreHero.com forums make it possible for you to strum your favorite music using the same Guitar Hero controller.

Guitar Hero Gibson SG controllers are compatible with the PS2 version of Guitar Hero 2, so if you're the lucky owner of a modded PS2 that can read burned DVDs, then you're all set. All you need are the freeware programs provided by ScoreHero.com forums.

Of course the complicated part comes here, there is a lot of file juggling to be done but if you succeed in going through all the required steps, your work will be rewarded. Also, keep in mind that only some CDs will work and those are Taiyo Yuden, Sony and Verbatim.

The not so good part is that, although some say it's easy, it takes a lot of time to get all this done if you're not equipped with all of the requirements.

The 12 step guide that Joystq provides to get the job done doesn't include instructions on how to patch your own custom notecharts. But I'm sure that won't be too much of a disappointment as all Guitar Hero 2 players out there just waited for the opportunity to rock the game on their favorite song. I can hear them now:" man...,I can't make 5 stars...it's impossible, I bet I could do it on my favorite song though."
