Among the mobile phones that should arrive in the not too far future on shelves at Verizon Wireless, we can count a Motorola DROID X2 smartphone, which was not announced in an official manner as of yet, but which already made a series of appearances into the wild, in leaked photos and documents.

Following a series of rumors on what the upcoming handset might include, the full list of specifications that Motorola and Verizon might have packed the device with surfaced, so that we can make a better idea of what Verizon would offer to its users soon.

Just as previously rumored, the Motorola DROID X2 is expected to arrive on shelves with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a qHD resolution, the leaked document that emerged at Pocketnow shows.

Moreover, it should be powered by a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 application processor, with each core clocked in at 1Ghz, complemented by the same amount of RAM and ROM as the original DROID X (namely 512MB and 6GB, respectively).

The mobile phone should also arrive on shelves with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, so that users can carry with them favorite music, videos, photos and other files.

The specs list of the new device would also include an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for 720p HD video recording. The phone would support 1080p video playback over HDMI.

The upcoming Motorola DROID X2 is also expected to include support for EV-DO Rev. A mobile broadband, as well as for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR connectivity, built-in GPS receiver should be included into the mix as well.

The mobile phone is set to land on Verizon's network with the usual series of sensors: proximity, light, accelerometer, and e-compass.

No specific info on when the new device would become available for purchase at Big Red emerged for the time being, but it might not be too long before that happens, so stay tuned for more on this.
