FCC is reported to have recently approved a series of new devices, among which we can count the T-Mobile Sidekick LX 2009, as well as some Samsung mobile phones, such as the Samsung i8910 (also known as OmniaHD), the S8300 Ultra-touch, and the Samsung B5210 and B189, which would rather resemble some exclusive Korean handsets.

The T-Mobile Sidekick LX 2009 has been spotted in the wild before, and it is stated to have been approved by FCC under the internal name of PV300. The device is manufactured by Sharp and is expected to come to the market featuring a display able to provide an 854 x 480 pixel resolution, while also including GPS capabilities. The handset was previously rumored to also include 3G connectivity, and now it is confirmed.

For the time being, there are no details on what name the device will actually receive from T-Mobile USA – it could be Sidekick 2009 or Sidekick Blade, though these are not the only alternatives. One way or another, the handset is for sure one of the nicest Sidekicks to be released by T-Mobile and, since it is expected to come to the market on May 13, more details on the matter should surface shortly.

And since FCC is also reported to have approved the Samsung i8910 (OmniaHD), it seems that we should be able to see the device available for purchase in the US in the near future. What it will bring to users in the country includes an AMOLED-display and an 8-megapixel photo snapper. The other handsets from the Korean mobile phone maker that got approved are the S8300 Ultra-touch, the Samsung B5210 and the B189. Hopefully, the newly approved phones will soon become available on the market and users will be able to enjoy the goodies that they bring along.
