HTC Magic has been already spotted at FCC about a week ago, not long after it was announced for the first time, yet back then there were no details regarding the carrier that would bring the device onto the United States market.

This time around, the new Android-powered mobile phone has been seen once again on the halls of the FCC, only that it has the T-Mobile USA branding on it. What the device is said to deliver to mobile users in the country is both 3G and UMA support for the carrier's networks, proving to be the first handset to receive the approval.

For what it's worth, the handset was in a way expected to come to T-Mobile's offering, given the fact that back at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Google demonstrated its offline Gmail on the handset sporting the operator's logo at the top. What HTC Magic is expected to bring to the US carrier’s customers includes 7.2Mbps HSDPA capabilities, as well as a 5-megapixel photo snapper and Wi-Fi connectivity.

One interesting fact that should also be mentioned about the device is its name, which might not be Magic after all, as it is expected to be in Europe. The handset was also reported at one moment to come as G2, though no such naming was spotted so far, and some even say that it could come to the market as HTC Sapphire, since it was seen with this tag on HTC's lineup that was leaked to the web about two months ago.

There are no details on when the Android-based handset will become available on the US market, and the same applies to a possible price tag that it would feature, yet we hope to learn more info on it in the near future, so stay tuned for the latest news.
