Star tells Wonderland magazine shooting “Transformers” was hell

Megan Fox is currently promoting her upcoming horror comedy, “Jennifer’s Body,” and, consequently, she is everywhere in the media these days. The topics she agrees to open up on are varied as well, ranging from how she might suffer from schizophrenia to feminist matters and, more recently, how director Michael Bay is like Hitler on the set of a film.

The gorgeous actress is featured in the latest issue of Wonderland magazine, as we also told you a short while back. The amazing ‘80s-inspired photospread also comes with a lengthy interview, in which, among others, Fox talks about what it’s like to work with Michael Bay, the director that literally invented onscreen explosions, as his fans put it jokingly. According to Megan, things could be better, since Bay has a tendency to be too controlling, which makes him like Hitler or, at best, Napoleon.

“God, I really wish I could go loose on this one. He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all. And it’s endearing to watch him. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant. Shia and I almost die when we make a Transformers movie. He has you do some really insane things that insurance would never let you do.” Megan explains for Wonderland.

As fans will certainly remember, this is not the first time that the actress takes a more or less veiled swing at Bay, a director with several other action blockbusters under his belt than just the “Transformers” franchise. Earlier this year, Fox was also telling the media that she had hardly had any time to prove herself to the public, since she had only gotten massive exposure in Bay’s two films, and everybody knew Bay was more about having actors run than act.

Back then, Bay was upset and not even blinked when he let Fox have it. “Well, that’s Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23-years-old and she still has a lot of growing to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think: ‘OK Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.’ Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in ‘Transformers.’” Michael Bay said. He is yet to comment on the Hitler remark, but do keep your eyes on this space for when he does.
