Megan Fox says she doesn’t need a male star’s power: she’s getting her own

Not long ago, “Transformers” stunner Megan Fox was telling the media how she didn’t know what she had done to deserve the kind of exposure she was getting. Offering no indication that she may have come up with an answer to that, the star is featured in the current issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, where she discusses anything and everything, from her boyfriends, to her phobias and how she perceives Hollywood men.

As fans must already know, Fox is now promoting her latest movie, the horror comedy “Jennifer’s Body,” which is scheduled for a nationwide release on September 18. With so little time to go until then, the gorgeous actress is certainly sparing no expense in getting her name out there, even if that means dishing out on some of the most intimate and perhaps even embarrassing aspects of her life – like how she always gets diarrhea before she gets up on the theater stage.

Fox has quite an outstanding reputation for being extremely outspoken and not the one to beat around the bush to have her point made. Because of this, having her tell Cosmopolitan that women are the strongest in a relationship for the mere reason that they are women (anatomically speaking) is not that much of a surprise. Her own example is perfect in this sense, the actress says, since she’s always the one to set the tone of a relationship, as well as call most of the shots. It could be that she has some form of the “superiority complex,” Fox adds.

She also sees herself as powerful, especially since she’s able to switch from being committed to a relationship to full-prowl mode. “I have no problem with commitment – you can’t have a real relationship without it. I can flip on a switch in my brain, and even if the next Brad Pitt is standing next to me, I won’t look at him. But I can also turn that switch of[f], and then I collect attractive boys.” the actress, who is currently dating former “90210” star Brian Austin Green, says.

As for the many male stars who are undoubtedly trying to woo her all the time, Megan shares she’s in no danger of falling for them. “It’s fun when someone intends to put you in his back pocket, but instead, he walks away wounded. I make it a mind game so they don’t know if I’m hitting on them or mocking them. Male actors drop lines about their private jets, trying to seem powerful, but I don’t give a [expletive]. I don’t need someone else’s power. I’m obtaining my own.” Fox explains.
