14 DAY TRIAL // Christina Aguilera may still be pining for her broken marriage to soon to be ex-husband of 5 years Jordan Bratman, but she’s also looking to get back in the dating game – and there may be pictures to prove it.
According to paparazzi agency / celebrity gossip website X17 Online, Christina double dated just the other day with Nicole Richie and fiancé Joel Madden.
Christina’s date was Joel’s brother, Benji, who was also romantically linked, among others, to socialite, singer and actress Paris Hilton.
However, as it happens, there is no concrete way of verifying whether Xtina’s date was really Benji since he clearly had no intention of being photographed – and covered himself with a coat as the car exited the driveway.
“Christina Aguilera and rumored boyfriend Benji Madden made it a double date last night with Benji’s bro Joel and fiancee Nicole Richie at the Soho House,” X17 writes.
Benji wasn’t the only one who hid from view, since Nicole too was suddenly too shy to face the cameras and chose to duck under her seat to prevent the paparazzi from taking her picture.
“Sources said that Xtina, who’s gotten really close to Nicole Richie, is rebounding from her divorce with Benji Madden, and now we’ve got the proof!” X17 gushes.
“Course, it seemed like Benji wanted to keep it on the down low, he hid in the backseat next to Christina (while Nicole was the one hiding in the front),” the same e-zine further writes.
However, this recent set of photos seems to confirm a rumor that has been making the rounds in recent days, namely that Christina was already looking to move past her failed marriage.
Another things Christina has been doing these days, the same e-zine says, is recording new music. The star herself revealed in a recent interview she was working on a brand new album.
“Now I’m actually in the studio recording the next album, which has a different vibe,” the singer shared in an interview cited by X17.
“I think now we’re back to going a little deeper, in the vein where I recorded my Stripped record, which was very personal and more introspective,” Christina explained.
