14 DAY TRIAL // Christina Aguilera has just filed for divorce from her husband of 5 years, Jordan Bratman, but she’s already looking to get back in the dating game – with some help from Samantha Ronson.
Sam is Mark Ronson’s sister and an established DJ on her own. However, gossip lovers may know her name from the tabloids because she was once romantically linked to Lindsay Lohan.
In fact, at one point, things between the two were getting so serious that reports even said they were engaged and talking wedding plans.
It’s no wonder then that X17 Online starts a report on a new budding romance with “If LiLo hears about this she’ll need another month at least in the Betty Ford Center!”
According to inside sources, Christina and Samantha have been friends for a very long time, but, just recently, they’ve taken their friendship to the next level.
“Ever since Samantha went to Cabo with Xtina, ‘the two have been inseparable,’ says our source, X17 writes.
“I’ve seen them hanging out together. Christina Aguilera really lets down her guard around Sam. They’re very comfortable with each other,” the spy says.
The Cabo trip wasn’t the only time when they were pictured together either, says the same report, since Christina was seen leaving Sam’s house just recently, after the split.
“The pop star was even seen leaving Sam’s place late at night earlier this week AND she stopped by The Roxy on Sunday to see her new favorite DJ spin,” X17 says by means of an argument to support the romance story.
“Is it a coincidence that Aguilera suddenly split from Jordan Bratman so soon after her Cabo trip (where she got even closer to Samantha)?” the paparazzi agency / celebrity gossip e-zine asks.
If true, this would come to confirm a recent report saying that Jordan wanted out of the marriage because he could no longer stand seeing Christina bring girls home at night.
However, if reports of the new romance are accurate, it’s good to know that Samantha is happy too – much more so than she ever was with Lohan.
“Their relationship is different because Christina doesn’t create the kind of drama that Lindsay did,” says the spy, comparing the recent affair with the troubled relationship Ronson had with the actress.
