As for the handset, it comes with a familiar design, with the popular Bold QWERTY keyboard on the front, complemented by a 2.44-inch display. On the back, it sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, flash and video recording.

However, the specifications list for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 is longer than that, with a nice range of connectivity options included into the mix, such as support for 3G networks, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB 2.0.

The smartphone also includes 256MB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 3.2GB of additional storage space (a 2GB card included into the mix).

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 also comes with a GPS receiver packed inside, as well as with a battery that can offer up to 6 hours of talk time, or up to 17 days of standby time.
