14 DAY TRIAL // A new smartphone is now available for purchase on the airwaves of T-Mobile in the United States, namely the BlackBerry Bold 9780, the latest Bold smartphone from the Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion.
Announced officially several weeks ago, the handset was put on sale at T-Mobile with a price tag of $129.99 attached to it with a two-year contract agreement included into the equation.
This is the first BlackBerry smartphone at T-Mobile to deliver the BlackBerry 6 operating system to users, and comes with a nice range of enhancements over the previously available devices at the wireless carrier.
“Built with BlackBerry 6, the latest BlackBerry smartphone from T-Mobile is bolder than ever before with a styling look and fluid feel, fast-loading tabbed browsing experience, and simultaneous multi-platform updates and postings of all things social,” the company notes on its website.
The new device comes with a similar design as other devices in the popular Bold series, though it includes a series of hardware enhancements when compared to its predecessors.
In addition to supporting 3G networks, as well as to offering Wi-Fi capabilities, the new device also comes with support for Wi-Fi Calling for increased coverage.
Moreover, the smartphone includes a a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash and with video recording capabilities, along with great multimedia features.
“The Bold 9780 provides a fluid and user-friendly interface, bringing your favorite features front-and-center, including universal search and a new and improved Web browsing experience with faster page-loading and tabbed browsing,” the wireless services provider announced via its Facebook page.
Not to mention that the new device comes with access to the App World, where thousands of applications are available for download.
The new BlackBerry Bold 9780 was put on sale in two color versions, including Black and Flash White. The smartphone can be seen on the wireless carrier's website here.
