The reviews department of Softpedia Games is at full strength again and that means we have reviews for four titles this week: PayDay 2, the cooperative four-man heist-focused shooter from Overkill, Europa Universalis IV, the grand strategy game from Paradox Development Studios, DuckTales, in its remastered incarnation, and Space Hulk, a modern take on a classic experience.

We also have the familiar two Weekend Reading pieces: one of them focused on the power of free DLC to keep a game like Wargame AirLand Battle relevant in the long term and another one about Gamescom.

Our new Gamer Diary is linked to Europa Universalis IV and follows the exploits of France as it struggles to dominate the Western side of the continent.

We also deliver an EndWeekGame piece that shows how we will pass our free time.

And we also have a selection of the most interesting news from the past seven days.

On Wednesday, a report revealed that the PlayStation 4 from Sony was set to launch on October 21 and a new Watch Dogs gameplay video showed info on the hacking actions.

Thursday was dominated by Call of Duty: Ghosts, with full information on the multiplayer modes and an announcement about season pass and profile transfers to the Xbox One and the PS4.

On Friday, new information was revealed about The Sims 4 and its intelligent characters and we found out that GTA Online would not be sold separately
