An executive working for large graphics board maker Nvidia has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 5 will appear for the PC this fall, highlighting it, alongside Call of Duty: Ghosts and Assassin's Creed 4, among the big games of the year.

Nvidia is one of the biggest companies involved in PC gaming and has been an adamant supporter of the platform, even if it's also targeting mobile devices through projects like the Shield handheld.

Speaking in a recent earnings call, transcribed by SeekingAlpha and spotted by CraveOnline, Senior IR Director Chris Evenden made a surprising reveal.

While highlighting titles that are prompting gamers to upgrade their systems, he mentioned that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be coming to the PC, besides confirmed games like Call of Duty: Ghosts or Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

GTA V developer Rockstar, however, hasn't commented on the leak and continues to focus only on the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions of the open-world game, which is out on September 17.
