We've talked about the unannounced Samsung Galaxy C7 before, but this is the first time we get a little bit more information about what's under the hood.

Those of you who don't remember might want to know that the Galaxy C7 is supposed to be another high-end smartphone launched by Samsung. It will be part of a new C-series by the South Korean company, along with Samsung C5, which is slightly less featured than the C7.

News about Samsung C7 emerged online a few weeks ago, and over the weekend, the smartphone was spotted in a benchmark along with some of its specs. Today, the device has been listed at GFXBench, which a sign that Samsung plans to make it official very soon.

The next step would be to see the C7 at TENAA, the Chinese regulatory commission, after which there's a high chance that Samsung will come forward with an official announcement.

But let's take a look at all the new information that we've gotten thanks to the listing of the Samsung C7 at GFXBench. First of all, the device sports a large 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

16MP rear camera, but no word on battery yet

On the inside, Samsung C7 packs a 64-bit 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with an Adreno 506 graphics processing unit, and either 3.5GB or 4GB of RAM.

We also know the handset will include 32GB of internal memory, but only 25GB will be available for users. However, we believe the C7 will pack microSD card slot for memory expansion as well.

As expected, Samsung C7 comes with a 16-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording. There's no info on any other advanced features like phase-detection autofocus or OIS (optical image stabilization). A secondary 8-megapixel camera will be included on the front as well.

The C7 will be powered by Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, but we have yet to learn what type of battery will be packed under the hood.
