More news about the unannounced Samsung Galaxy A9 continues to make headlines, as the smartphone is expected to be unveiled in less than a month during CES 2016 trade fair.

With the new Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016), Samsung debuts a new Galaxy A series of smartphones, which will be expanded once again next year.

Samsung Galaxy A9 will probably be the most expensive smartphone in the new series. Since we know quite a lot about the handset's specs, the only things remaining for Samsung fans is to get a glimpse of what the smartphone might look like.

We got that a few days ago when the first ad images of the Galaxy A9 leaked from China. Even though a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth even more.

Samsung Galaxy A9 has just been caught on video in China where it's handled next to the newly announced Galaxy A7 (2016).

The size difference between the two smartphones is quite big, but that's understandable since Galaxy A9 is said to boast a huge 6-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, whereas the Galaxy A7 (2016) sports a slightly smaller 5.5-inch display with similar resolution.

Octa-core CPU, massive 4,000 mAh battery

As mentioned in our previous report, the Galaxy A9 will be powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

Samsung Galaxy A9 should pack a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.

Another strong point of the Galaxy A9 would be the massive 4,000 mAh battery inside, which should provide much better battery life than many mid-range Android smartphones available on the market.
