Samsung is likely to launch multiple Galaxy A series smartphones in the next couple of weeks. We reported to you earlier this week about the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 successors, but rumors about these devices date back to several weeks ago.

The Galaxy A3 will have its sequel as well, so fans of this stylish family of smartphones will have quite a few choices when the handsets go on sale.

But these are not the only Galaxy A series phones that will make their debut in the following months. An unannounced Galaxy A9 smartphone has been recently spotted at Zauba, the Indian import / export entity, a new report claims.

Also known as Samsung SM-A9000, the smartphone was leaked for the first time a while ago in AnTuTu benchmark database.

However, it looks like there's some confusion over the Galaxy A9's specs sheet, as the listing at AnTuTu mentions a 5.5-inch display while Zauba's documents claim the smartphone sports a much larger 6-inch screen.

It could be the most powerful Galaxy A series smartphone

Aside from that, there's little else that Zauba documents reveal regarding the unannounced Galaxy A9 smartphone. The cost of the device is mentioned as well, but we don't expect it to be final.

Still, those interested might want to know that Samsung Galaxy A9 has been price tagged in Zauba documents at Rs 16,501, which is about $250 or €230.

The rest of the info we know about Galaxy A9 comes from AnTuTu, which highlights some of the phone's features. For example, the smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor, an Adreno 510 graphics processing unit, and 3GB of RAM.

As mentioned earlier, it might sport a 5.5-inch or 6-inch capacitive touchscreen display, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. It will run the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system at launch.
