Samsung has been pretty mum on Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates and only recently confirmed that it has started the rollout of the upgrade to two of its previous flagships: Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.

However, the update is not yet available in all countries, and it will take a few more weeks until it reaches all devices. But what about the other high-end smartphones that Samsung launched last year or two years ago?

Well, it looks like Samsung fans won't have to wait too long for Android 6.0 Marshmallow to arrive on some of the most popular high-end smartphones launched by the South Korean company.

The folks over at PhoneArena managed to get their hands on a document that shows Samsung's Android 6.0 Marshmallow update roadmap.

The list includes many high-end Galaxy smartphones, but only one mid-range device. Still, there's a high chance that additional mid-range handsets will be added to the list in the coming months.

March and April should be good months for Galaxy Note 4/5 owners

But first things first. According to the list, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge and Galaxy S6 edge+ should receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by the end of March.

Next in line, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note edge are expected to get the upgrade sometime in April. On the other hand, the Galaxy S5 won't be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow until May 2016.

Another premium smartphone, the Galaxy Alpha is scheduled to receive Marshmallow in June. Last but not least, Samsung is also testing Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Galaxy Tab S2 8'' and Galaxy Tab S2 9.7'', which is expected to hit these tablets in May.

This is just the first phase of Android 6.0 Marshmallow deployment, but Samsung also plans a second phase which includes more mid-range smartphone like Galaxy A7 (2016). However, there's no release time frame for this phase yet, but we believe it will happen after June.
