14 DAY TRIAL // Razer unveiled a line of older gaming peripherals that were reborn under the new Mercury edition, in a beautiful matte white.
When people imagine a Razer product, they usually have something green in mind. Lately, Razer has been working towards making people think about their products in Chroma colors, but they still have to work on that.
For the most part, people enjoy Razer products in their default colors, which is usually a combination of green and other Chroma shades, mostly because they tend to work with pretty much anything. But there are some users out there that are looking for something more stylish, suited for the office.
It’s true that Razer doesn’t exactly scream office with their products, but they do have a line of items called Mercury, which exchanged the black for matte white. This color makes everything look ready for the office, no matter the product.
Meet Razer’s 2019 Mercury Collection
While all of the products look like they could be used in an office setting, not all of them are aimed at that sector of the industry, and the controller is proof of that. In fact, Razer says that these products are also for fashion-conscious PC or console users.
The new Mercury Collection features the Razer Atheris wireless mouse, the Basilisk gaming mouse the Goliathus Extended Chroma mouse mat, the BlackWidow Lite keyboard, the Huntsman gaming keyboard, the Kraken gaming headset, the Raiju Tournament Edition controller for PS4, the Seiren X microphone, and the Base Station Chroma headset stand.
We reviewed the two keyboards listed here, the BlackWidow Lite and the Huntsman, and they might look great in white, but if you work in an open office space, your coworkers are soon going to contemplate murder. The mechanical clicking sounds are not for everyone.
Razer also offers the Blade 15 laptop in white, but the company has a line of products called Quartz pink, for those of you who enjoy that particular color.
