The phone will be launched in retail stores on November 20

Previous rumors pointed at a possible release of the Lumia 950 at AT&T on November 20. Today the US-based carrier confirmed the Windows 10 smartphone would be available for purchase through its official retail channels beginning this week.

Customers will be able to grab the AT&T Lumia 950 from November 17, but only via the carrier's online store. However, starting November 20, the smartphone will be available at AT&T's brick and mortar stores.

If you wonder how much it will cost, then you will be pleased to know that the Microsoft Lumia 950 in Matte Black or Matte White for $0 down on AT&T Next 24 ($19.97 for 30 months), 18 ($24.96 for 24 months), and 12 ($29.95 for 20 months).

Also, Microsoft Lumia 950 is also available for $150 on two-year agreements. The carrier did not offer any details on the phone's outright price, but rumor has it that it might cost around $600.

No free stuff for early purchases yet

On top of that, the carrier has announced that for a limited time, customers who purchase a Microsoft Lumia 950 on AT&T Next will also be eligible to purchase a Surface 3 for $400.

“Windows 10 and the all-new Microsoft Edge browser work together to maximize your productivity. The Lumia 950’s PC-like capability enables you to get things done faster and more efficiently, even when you’re on-the-go,” said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Device Marketing and Developer Services, AT&T Mobility.

There's no mention of any free accessories that would go in the sales package, but there's still time for AT&T to clarify the information.

Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will also be available for pre-order in the US via Microsoft Store, but their prices will be different.

Customers who purchase the Lumia 950 XL in the US via Lumia Offers app between November 25 and 31 might receive a free Continuum dock, which they can get from Microsoft Store by February 2016.
