HTC will be one of the few major handset makers that won't be launching its flagship smartphone at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

However, that doesn't mean that we won't see a flagship from HTC in the first half of the year. As rumors suggest, HTC fans should tune in for an official reveal on April 11. The launch event will take place in London, UK.

Now we hear that HTC One M10, which will actually be released on the market under a different moniker, will hit shelves in the US on May 9.

We reported to you about the possible specs inside the One M10, but now we have more in-depth details on the phone's camera.

According to HTC leakster LlabTooFeR, HTC Perfume, also known as One M10, will come with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX377 camera sensor on the back. This is the same sensor used by Google in Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P smartphones.

Phase detection and laser autofocus

The leakster also confirmed that the main camera would feature 1.55um size, as well as laser autofocus, and phase detection autofocus.

On the other hand, HTC One M10 will pack a 5-UltraPixel front-facing camera that packs a Samsung OmniVision s5k4e6 sensor module.

No other details on the smartphone have been revealed, but rumor has it that the flagship will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit, 32GB of internal memory and 4GB of RAM.

It will also boast a 5.2-inch AMOLED display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. HTC One M10 will also include a fingerprint sensor located under the Home button.

There are no details on the phone's battery at the moment, so we can't tell whether or not it will be removable. However, there have been rumors claiming the HTC One M10 will come with microSD card slot for memory expansion.
