Can't touch a PS3 for three years

If you had to choose between a US$ 7,500 high-performance PC and a PS3, what would you do? PC Gamer magazine wanted to find that out and went on Thursday night to visit some PS3 campers.

They went to the front of the line where all the most dedicated campers were (so dedicated that they waited for more than 40 hours) and made them an offer. PC Gamers dudes asked if there was anybody willing to trade their PS3 for a high-end US$ 7,500 PC and a 30'' LCD monitor. Anyone who was willing had to go through a drawing first.

The "lucky" winner had to sign a legal, notarized contract, obliging him not to purchase a PS3, or to have someone purchase one for them, nor to receive one as a gift for three whole years. Imagine standing in line for almost two days, being tired and hungry, I bet you would have given into temptation also.

As you probably may have imagined, many jumped on the occasion, but there was only one winner. I bet that if he is a PlayStation diehard fan, once he gets this PC state-of-the-art system, he will most definitely dump consoles for PCs.
