The white version of the Galaxy S II has also been confirmed by Vodafone and Three UK carrier, but it seems that O2 will also retail the smartphone.

Starting September, O2 UK will offer the white variant of the Galaxy S II smartphone, as the device has already been listed on the carrier's “Coming Soonwebpage.

By the look of it, Samsung plans to introduce the white Galaxy S II in UK initially, but it might launch it in other European countries soon after.

There is no information regarding the O2's white flavor Galaxy S II price, but it is worth mentioning that Three UK will be offering the white Galaxy S II on contract from £30 per month, as well as on a PAYG (pay as you go) for £499.99.

Furthermore, Vodafone UK has also confirmed that the white Galaxy S II will not be more expensive than the darker version, which makes it available for free on a £36.00 tariff, including 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 750MB of mobile data.

O2 UK may offer the white Galaxy S II for free as well, on select plans, but the carrier has yet to confirm these rumors.

The white Galaxy S II is also expected to be available from various major retailers, including Clove, which has already stated that the phone will be put on sale starting August 15.

All in all, both black and white versions of the Galaxy S II feature the same specs, so it's just a matter of color taste.
