A new, white flavor of Dell Streak, the popular Android-based tablet PC the computer maker made available for purchase earlier this year, is now available in the United States via Best Buy.

The white version of Streak is exclusive to Best Buy, and was made available only for in-store pick-up, it seems, though users should also find the slate available for online reservations.

It should be noted that not all Best Buy stores in the US are expected to receive the white Dell Streak, which means that it would be a great idea to check on the slate's availability before heading to the local outlet to make a purchase.

For the time being, there are no details available on whether the device will be put on sale online as well, or if the company plans on maintaining the in-store exclusivity for a longer period of time.

However, in case there are some who would like to have a closer look at the white Dell Streak, they should head over to Streak Smart, where a nice range of photos were published, some of which can be seen attached to this article as well.

Specs wise, the white Streak should boast the same features as the black version, which has just started to receive the Android 2.2 software update from Dell.

For those who might have not followed the news on the software update for the tablet PC, we should note that Dell announced it would soon start to sell the device unlocked with Froyo on board in the US.

Moreover, the company plans on making the update available for all devices that sell through Best Buy stores starting with early December.

According to Streak Smart, there are great chances that previous rumors on the availability of other color versions for the tablet PC would also pan out in the near future, so stay tuned for more on the matter.
