Sega's Virtua Fighter 5 has undoubtedly reached the fans' hearts and then some, with the incredibly good looking VF 5 tailored especially for the for the PS3 performance and features. The arcade version is not different at all, providing the same dynamic characters, great looking fighting techniques and moves with sublime backgrounds and that's what Sega is going to put at your disposal for you to prove yourself at AOU 2007.

To clear the air of any mystery, there are no prizes for the winner of the competition that will take place in the VF5 corner of Sega's huge AOU booth, with 64 players amongst which you should be too. Sega's reason for this might be to emphasize that just participating in this tournament is something only the gifted can experience or, that they're just too damn cheap to give away a free copy VF5 or some other Sega game. But the title of "Fighter of the Century" should prove to be reward enough for he who manages to finish the competition with some green left in the life gauge.

It's all going down north of Tokyo February 17th , where Sega is holding a "Fight of the Century Virtua Fighter 5 Tournament" at Japan's annual AOU arcade game exhibition and if you insist on being one of the 64 lucky gamers going for the title of "Fighter of the Century," then you should know that each player must have his own VF.Net access card in order to take part in the competition. All this being said, all you have to do is be there. No excuse is good enough to miss an event such as "Fight of the Century, Virtua Fighter 5 Tournament."
