Japanese popstar Ayumi Hamasaki makes it to the boss stage in a set of micro-games

One of Japan's biggest popstars, Ayumi Hamasaki gave Wario Ware: Smooth Moves a go, on Japan's music TV show Hey! Hey! Hey! and she did a pretty good job at it, for a girl that is and a pop star. Like its predecessors, WarioWare: Smooth Moves is a collection of micro-games based on simple actions which usually last fewer than five seconds each. This was the tricky part for Ayumi because she didn't even get the chance to notice what she had to do in some of them, before it was too late.

The microgames are delivered in rapid succession, presenting the player with the gameplay screen and a short instruction hinting at the action that must be accomplished. And when I say short, I mean SHORT, about three seconds or so. If a player makes four mistakes over the course of one set of microgames, they must start over from the beginning, but that wasn't the case in the TV show because Ayumi was given only one set of mini games that ended with a boss stage, which she obviously failed. But at least she made it to the boss stage.

The video is fun to watch no doubt about it and I encourage you to do so. Just look at Ayumi actually leaning down to the floor with the Wiimote in her hand when she has to pet the little doggy in one of the micro-games. How could Nintendo ever fail when their console is the most fun subject in many TV shows across the world and more than that, when beautiful pop stars like Ayumi Hamasaki are the ones using the system to entertain us all? Oh, I almost forgot: listen to host of the TV show when he sees the Boss Stage coming up on screen.
