15 minutes of raiding the Outlands equals hours of running old instances

Blizzard's WoW is without any exaggeration, the thrill of any RPG gamer, no doubt about it, but more and more players are discovering that two hours in the Outlands can replace gear that took a lot more time and 40 people to get together running these instances week after week.

Don't get me wrong, no one is saying that the folks aren't happy with the game, but some suggestions on how Blizzard could make old content relevant again can contribute to its success and make the most of what it can possibly offer. Those suggestions came from Sister site WoW Insider, who might have found an answer to all this. Here's a short description of the steps that should be taken by both gamers and Blizzard's staff:

-Enabling Heroic mode: Heroic mode makes bosses and enemies harder, but they'll also give better loot.

-Send players back in old instances for quests: a few Outland quests are already sending players back into Azeroth to finish them, and Blizzard could do the same for the old instances, offering special summons or cutscenes.

-Tune them up: balance the old content to relate in the new reality of the game.

Of course these "irrelevant" instances don't make the game depend on them ,so while some are trapped in "the past" and just can't get their mind off of all the loot they could get, others just run them for fun using what's at hand in the more serious moments of the campaign.

So, in the end, it still comes to the loot. It's human nature.
