As previously reported, Blizzard plans to organize some special events in order to celebrate the release of their latest expansion The Burning Crusade. These events will take place both in the US as well as in Europe but today come some details on the European street launches.

If you happen to be in London on the 15th of January, walking down on Oxford Street, you might want to stop by HMV, because that is when the World of Warcraft celebration will begin. You will get to meet Jon LeCraft, World of Warcraft game designer and Blizzard VP of Business Development, Itzik Ben Bassat, and if you are lucky, you can get your Burning Crusade copy signed by one of them.

You will also have the possibility of buying a "highly limited" Collector's Edition of The Burning Crusade, which is currently going for more than 250 bucks on eBay. This special edition pack includes the game, a making-of DVD, a hardcover art book, an exclusive in-game netherwhelp pet, two World of Warcraft Card Game card packs and three exclusive cards, a map of Utland mousepad and a soundtrack audio CD.

On top of this, those who attend this event in a World of Warcraft costume, as well as some of those who come first, will get some preferential treatment. They will be eligible to register for a special in-game baby Murloc pet. Also, if you wear a costume, you will get priority if you want to buy the Collector's Edition pack. And you could get some exclusive The Burning Crusade T-shirts too.
