Verizon Wireless is yet another mobile phone carrier in the United States which would have the Apple iPad available for its customers starting with Friday, March 11. Tomorrow, Verizon customers would have the possibility to purchase the device from the carrier's stores starting with 5 p.m. local time.

Three iPad 2 models would be available for purchase on the company's airwaves, a 16 GB model that runs at $629.99, a 32 GB model priced at $729.99, and a 64 GB model that costs $829.99.

Both black and white flavors of these devices would be available for purchase, the company announced.

Verizon Wireless will have in store several plans for its customers interested in the new iPad 2 device, starting at only $20 per month.

No long-term contract would be required to benefit from these deals, which means that users would be able to activate or cancel the plans at any time.

The following options will be available for iPad 2 adopters: $20 per month for 1 GB per month data allowance $35 per month for 3 GB per month data allowance $50 per month for 5 GB per month data allowance $80 per month for 10 GB per month data allowance The new iPad 2 arrives on the market with a new design, being 33 percent thinner and up to 15 percent lighter when compared to the original iPad.

The specifications list of the device would include 9.7-inch LED-backlit LCD screen, along with Apple’s new dual-core A5 processor, and the aforementioned amount of internal memory.

Moreover, the new device arrives on shelves with a front-facing VGA camera for FaceTime and Photo Booth, and with a photo spanner on the back, with 720p HD video recording capabilities.

“Though it is thinner, lighter, faster and packed with new features, iPad 2 still delivers up to 10 hours of battery life that users have come to expect,” the wireless carrier concluded.
