14 DAY TRIAL // It seems that the launch of Samsung Fascinate over at Verizon Wireless is indeed as close as some speculated, maybe even closer, since Best Buy has just announced that those interested in purchasing the device would be able to place pre-orders for it starting today.
In all fairness, this applies only to Best Buy Reward Zone members, but general pre-order availability is set for August 29, only two days from now.
“Best Buy Mobile today announced the Verizon Wireless Samsung Fascinate is available for pre-order starting August 29. As an added and exclusive bonus, Best Buy Reward Zone members can reserve the Samsung Fascinate on August 27,” the retailer announced.
According to the company, people interested in ordering one Samsung Fascinate in advance can do so by visiting any local Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile standalone store.
For the time being, however, no info on the pricing and on the launch date of this device was unveiled, but Best Buy says that all should be made official in the near future.
“Like the other Galaxy smart phones, the Verizon Wireless Samsung Fascinate, is a great phone and we are excited to bring it to our customers with this presale,” Scott Anderson, senior director of merchandising at Best Buy Mobile.
“Smart phone technology has gone to a new level this summer, which is great for consumers. Best Buy stands for choice and we are committed to helping customers research and choose the right handset and accessories that make sense for them,” he continued.
The specifications list of the mobile phone should not be a mystery to anyone, as other Galaxy S models, including the Samsung Vibrant and Samsung Captivate, were already released on the United Sates market, via wireless carriers T-Mobile and AT&T, respectively.
All in all, in case you are a Best Buy Reward Zone member and plan on getting the new Fascinate, you should be able to head to the retailer's stores to place an order for it as soon as today. If not, August 29 is the lucky day for you.
