14 DAY TRIAL // Leading mobile music discovery provider Shazam announced recently the release of an enhanced application in the Ovi Store by Nokia. According to the company, the new software solution comes with a series of new features that should enable users of a Nokia device to enjoy a better “music journey that ever before.” The improvements with the new application cover a wide range of areas, including more details on songs, as well as the possibility to acquire the track directly from the handset.
All handsets running under Symbian S60 v3.2 and v5 can enjoy the new Shazam application available through the Ovi Store. Among the models supported by the software solution, we can count the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia N97 and Nokia E72, but one should also learn that the app is about to be pre-loaded on a series of new devices, including the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic and Nokia X6.

The fully featured Shazam application can be enjoyed for free for 30 days on handsets, yet those who would like to continue using the app will either have to purchase the full version or will have to switch to the free, limited one. The full Shazam flavor is priced at $4.99, €3.99 or £2.99, depending on location, and can be used unlimitedly.
The languages supported by the application include: French, Canadian-French, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Portuguese, Brazilian-Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, Dutch, Bulgarian and Mexican Spanish. According to the company, it also plans on delivering support for Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Arabic and Hebrew in the near future.
